About
This is a personal site for Kevin Purdy. There are lots of people named Kevin Purdy with a web presence, but only one of them has my hair.
I was an editor at technology & productivity blog Lifehacker for more than three years. I now write for Fast Company’s Work Smart section, TechRepublic’s Google In the Enterprise blog, Buffalo Spree magazine, ITWorld, and other publications. You could also call me an amateur tech tinkerer, very amateur photo-taker, and decent home cook.
I was born in Baldwinsville, NY, and I now live in Buffalo. I hope you get something useful, or just a smile, out of something on this site.
Need to contact me about writing or something else on this site? Here’s the page. If you’re writing to pitch a product or service for Lifehacker.com (which, you might remember from the third sentence on this page, I no longer writer for on the regular), please write [username: tips] at [server: lifehacker.com], where all the (current and damned-hard-working) editors will have access to your message.
